Lua Viet Travel focuses on ASEAN tours in 2010
Lua Viet Travel Company has introduced its main tourist theme “ASEAN – Under the Same Roof†for the year 2010, focusing strongly on tours to some countries in Southeast Asian region such as Cambodia, Thailand, the Philippines, Brunei, Myanmar and Indonesia.
Traveling in those countries becomes easier due to the visa exemption for Vietnamese people, excepting Myanmar, while cultural similarities between Vietnam and those nations are an advantage, said Nguyen Van My, director of Lua Viet travel agency. Besides, the cost for each tour is low, in the range of US$500-700, and Lua Viet is committed to stabilize price for tours to Cambodia from now till the end of 2010, he added.
Beside tours to foreign countries during Christmas and New Year as usual, this travel agency will organize tours to Kinabalu east of Malaysia, from there to conquer Mount Everest, which is called the roof of the world with the height of 8,850 meters.
In addition to tours to Laos for the 25th Sea Games from November 9-18, Lua Viet wants to combine sightseeing and watching football with the charitable activity to offer gifts to poor Vietnamese children living in that country. “For each person spending a day with Lua Viet, the travel company will deduct VND2,000 to help poor people, especially children,†said My.
