Local gold price keeps falling to below 46.8m dong/tael early Sep 1

Basing on the dong/US dollar forex rate today Thursday September 1, the global gold price is still higher than the local gold price by one million dong per tael.
At 9:05 am local time September 1, the local gold price continued falling 100,000 dong per tael from the previously-updated price. Accordingly, the SJC gold price in Hanoi was traded at 46.4-46.72 million dong/tael, down 150,000 dong/tael from 8:25 am today morning and down 230,000 dong/tael from late yesterday.

The SBJ-Sacombank gold price also plunged to 46.79 million dong/tael (selling price) and 46.41 million dong/tael (buying price), falling 200,000 dong/tael from late yesterday.

The spot world gold price on Kitco floor stands at $1,822.9 per ounce, according to the forex rate today, the global gold price is still lower than the domestic gold price by one million dong per tael.

At 8:25 am today morning local time, the SJC gold price in Hanoi decreased 100,000 dong/tael from late yesterday to list at 46.55-46.87 million dong/tael. The gold price of Bao Tin Minh Chau was quoted at 46.6-46.95 million dong/tael.

The SBJ gold price at 7:50 am today morning increased 50,000 dong/tael from late yesterday to list at 46.66-47.04 million dong/tael.

The gap between buying and selling price is about 300,000 dong/tael.

Thus, in comparison with yesterday morning, the local gold price slipped 350,000-500,000 dong/tael and fell nearly one million dong per tael from last weekend. – Vietbiz24
