Local fertilizer prices top VND14,000/kg

The prices of fertilizer increased to the highest level from the beginning of this year, the online newspaper Tuoitre reported on November 12, citing local traders.

In details, DAP fertilizer posted the highest increase of VND2,000/kg to between VND12,200-VND14,000.

The urea fertilizer is sold at between VND8,500-VND9,000 per kilo, increasing VND500-VND1,000 from last week.

PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Company (DPM), the biggest fertilizer producer of Vietnam, currently contributed to the 40% of the country’s consumption. DPM occupies 50% of fertilizer share market of South and middle South areas. Its share price closed unchanged at VND34,400 on November 12 session. – Stoxplus.com
