Leather and footwear export may fail to reach $5.4b target

With an export turnover of only $450 million in November, bringing the total figure in Jan-November to $4.5 billion, up 25.3 percent from the same period last year, leather and footwear sector will still be hard to reach the year’s target of 5.4 billion.

To reach this target, in the last month of the year, enterprises must earn nearly $1 billion. This will be very hard. As estimated, the highest figure in December may reach only $450-600 million.
