Large volume of Vietnamese litchi exported to China

Over the past week, Vietnam has exported 400-500 tonnes of litchi to China every day via the Lao Cai international border gate.

The average export price ranged between VND15,000-18,000 per kilo (4-5 Chinese yuan per kilo).

During this year’s litchi season, all Vietnamese litchi products exported to China are packaged in line with international standards.

Agencies at the Lao Cai international border gate are not imposing any taxes on Vietnamese litchi which helps to create favourable conditions for local businesses to export litchi to the Chinese market. – VOV
