Lao Cai cement plant to increase output

The Ministry of Construction (MoC) has approved Lao Cai Cement Factory’s application to increase its capacity from 350,000 tonnes to 450,000 tonnes per year.

MoC is mulling a development programme for the Viet Nam cement industry by 2020 and its orientation by 2030, which includes Lao Cai Cement Factory to submit the Government for approval.

Viet Nam has 108 cement production lines with a total designed capacity of 65 millions tonnes per year, according to MoC.
