Kuwait wants to promote ties with Vietnam

Kuwaiti Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah told incoming Vietnamese Ambassador Bui Quoc Trung he was committed to promoting all-around bilateral cooperation with Vietnam.

In Kuwait on May 3, the Emir also said he would arrange a visit to Vietnam at an appropriate time, at the invitation of President Nguyen Minh Triet.

Ambassador Trung, who presented his credentials at the Bayan Palace, expressed his hope of receiving the assistance of the Kuwaiti Emir, government and people to fulfil his assigned tasks and in developing the two countries’ friendly and cooperative relations.

He conveyed President Nguyen Minh Triet’s best regards to the Kuwaiti Emir and thanked Kuwait for its assistance and cooperation in Vietnam’s current national construction and development. – Vietnam+
