Jetstar forges alliance with Air France, KLM

Jetstar Group has established an interline partnership with Air France and KLM that encompasses all Jetstar ports in the Asia Pacific region.

“This partnership with one of Europe’s most established carriers will provide new opportunities for customers to more easily travel to the almost 60 destinations across the Asia Pacific region that Jetstar serves, including through our growing Singapore hub,” said Jetstar’s executive manager commercial David Koczkar in a statement.

Koczkar said the partnership would have a particularly positive impact on increasing accessibility for customers within Jetstar’s networks in Australia, New Zealand and Vietnam, leading to significant benefits for each of these local tourism industries.

The group, which consists of Jetstar, Jetstar Asia/Valuair and Jetstar Pacific, is an affiliate of Australia-based Qantas and holds 27 percent of Vietnamese carrier Jetstar Pacific.
