Japanese group plans auto facility in Da Nang

Tokai will build a factory on a site of 200 hectares with a total investment of $18-20 million in the central coastal city of Da Nang.

Phung Tan Viet, vice chair of Da Nang City People’s Committee on May 17 has a working session with Tokai Kogyo Group (Japan), the manufacturer and supplier of automobile components for large groups such as Honda, Toyota, Nissan and GM, Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper reported.

At the meeting session, representative from Tokai Group said that the group decided to invest and build an automobile component trading and manufactory in Da Nang city.

The manufactory will be built on an area of 200 hectares with a total investment of $18-20 million to provide components for auto assembling and manufacturing factories in Vietnam and for export.
