ITA works with ICBC on arranging $2b loan

The Chairwoman of Tan Tao Group (coded ITA), Dang Thi Hoang Yen has worked with the representatives from Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) on arranging a $2 billion funding for its Kien Luong 1 thermo power plant-phase 1 with a designed capacity of 1,200MW.

Yu Long in charge of the enterprise finance division of ICBC said that it was the most important working day of ICBC in Vietnam this time.

He also confirmed Kien Luong 1 thermo power centre will become the largest project ICBC joins.

As designed, Kien Luong 1 thermo power centre has total investment capital of $6.7 billion invested by ITA, which is capable of operating with 4,400-5,200MW. The project has three phases of construction and development, phase 1 with 1,200MW, phase 2 with 1,200-2,000MW and phase 3 with 2,000MW.
