Int’l timber and handicraft product fair opens

Nearly 200 domestic and foreign businesses attended the International Timber and Handicraft Products Fair which opened at the Tan Binh Exhibition and Fair Centre in Ho Chi Minh City on October 5.

The annual fair aims to promote domestic timber and handicraft product exports.

During the event, several other activities will also take place, such as an online fair, a trade promotion conference to boost exports of timber and bamboo products to Japan and direct consultancy at foreign stands.

Dang Quoc Hung, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Handicraft and Wood Industry Association, said the fair will provide opportunities to access new and emerging markets, such as Russia, South Africa, India and China. – VOV
