Int’l industrial machine exhibition opens

The 19th International Industrial Machinery Exhibition 2011 (IIME 2011) officially opened in Ho Chi Minh City on May 10.

The exhibition is jointly organised by the Centre for International Trade Fairs and Exhibitions under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), and Hien Dat Exhibition and Trading Service Co. Ltd.

The event attracts the participation of more than 200 businesses from countries and territories around the world, including the US, the UK, Italy, Vietnam, the Republic of Korea (RoK), Thailand, Germany, mainland China, Taiwan and Japan.

During the exhibition, the businesses introduce remarkable new technologies and display advanced machinery and equipment products in the fields of plastic, rubber and metal mechanical tools, printing and packaging technology, and industrial automatics.

The exhibition, which has been held since 1993, aimed to assist domestic and foreign technology and industrial machine and equipment suppliers to approach target customers in Vietnam.

The IIME 2011 exhibition will run until May 13. – VOV
