The event was sponsored by the Department of Trade Promotion under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and jointly organised by the Vietnam Electrotechnical Association, the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN), and the Vietnam CIS Advertising and Exhibition Company.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Nguyen Thanh Bien said that as part of the national trade promotion programme, Vietnam ETE aims to help domestic and foreign businesses promote cooperation and trade, exchange technologies and draw investment, contributing to implementing the electricity sector’s development strategy.

As part of the event, a seminar entitled “Vietnam Electrical Equipment Sector – Potentials, Opportunities and Challenges” will be organised on Sept. 8.
