Insurer inks aviation insurance contract valued at $200m

Lao Viet Insurance Joint Venture (LVI) has signed the aviation insurance contract with Laos Aviation Co (Lao Air) with total contract value of $200 million in order to provide insurance services for all the risks that may occur, including the airplanes, passenger, and commodities.

With the support of BCLE and Lao Air, the insurance provider has cooperated with New Zealand’s reinsurance brokerage of Boston Marks to ensure the financial safety while providing the services. In addition, LVI also set up cooperation relationship with other international inspection firms based in Vietnam and Thailand such as Crawford, Cunningham Lindsey in order to ensure about the service quality.
