Industrial production output reaches over 8.9tr dong

Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade stated that the country’s industrial production output in July was estimated at 8.925 trillion dong, an increase of 15.3 percent against the same period of last year.

In details, the state-owned economic sectors contributed about 1.962 trillion dong, up 1.7 percent; the non-state owned sectors of nearly 2.965 trillion dong, up 2.4 percent. Meanwhile, the production value from foreign invested sectors was estimated at 3.998 trillion dong, surging by 2.4 percent against the previous month.

Some large economic sectors saw a sharp increase in production output in July such as food and beverage, office equipment, means of transport.
