IBM leads server market share in Vietnam: IDC

IBM Vietnam said that it has been considered the leading server supplier in Vietnam market by International Data Corp (IDC), with a market share of up to over 30%.
Particularly, the segment of high-class corporate server (at the price of from $250,000 and higher), the market share in terms of revenue reached 77.6%, higher 55.2 percentage points against the nearest rival.

Popular server (costs between $10,000 and higher) achieved 58.7% market share, higher 34 percentage points compared to the nearest competitor.

The market share in terms of Unix server revenue that is not based on x86 platform reached 69.9%, higher 51.6 percentage points against the nearest competitor. – Source: Vietbiz24.com
