Hydropower firm yet to finish negotiation with EVN

Vinh Son Song Hinh Hydropower Joint Stock Co (coded VSH) announced that up to now, the company hasn’t finished negotiation about the 2010 power price with Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) Group. The power price in the first ten months of this year was still calculated at 90% of that of 2009 for tax payment purposes only.

By the end of October, the company reported producing 671.79 million kWh, bringing in accumulative revenue in Jan-October of 330.91 billion dong. Of which, in October only, VSH’s electricity output was posted at 64.61 million kWh, gaining revenue of 31.68 billion dong.

At present, the company was in progress of approving for the second phase of Upper Kon Tum hydropower plant project. The project has total investment capital of 5.744 trillion dong, including two turbines with designed capacity of 220MW. VSH expected to put into operation the first turbine of Upper Kon Tum hydropower plant in Q3 of 2013. – Dau tu chung khoan
