HP to invest $18Mln in Vietnam

Hewlett-Packard(HP), one of the world’s largest information technology companies, is setting up an $18 million software company at Quang Trung Software Park in Ho Chi Minh City

Hewlett-Packard(HP), one of the world’s largest information technology companies, is setting up an $18 million software company at Quang Trung Software Park in Ho Chi Minh City, the online newspaper Tuoitre reported on September 16, citing Do Nhat Hoang, Head of Foreign Investment Agency, the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

HP is also the leading company in producing printers, personal computers and host computers in the Vietnam market.

Vietnam remains an attractive destination for foreign investors. The biggest corporations have came to Vietnam comprise of HP, Intel, Unilever, PG, CocaCola, PepsiCo, Toyota, etc.

Earlier on August 17, PepsiCo, the world’s second largest food and beverage business, also said in a press release that it plans to invest $ 250 million in Pepsico Vietnam in the next 3 years. – Stoxplus.ccom
