HP builds software development research centre in Saigon High-tech Park

The US-based Hewlett-Packard information technology group (HP) has recently started building its software development and research centre in Saigon High-tech Park (SHTP) in HCM City’s Dist 9, said Phi Anh, vice chair of HP Software & Solutions.

According to Phi Anh, when starting this project, HP specially cares about four factors including human power, infrastructure, intelligent property and taxes.

During the first phase, HP will send about 30 software engineers to SHTP and it would be 100 people by the end of this year to fast put the centre into operation aiming to coordinate with the global manufacturing network.
