HCM City to welcome three millionth tourist

Officials are preparing to welcome the 3,000,000th foreign visitor at HCM City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport on December 21 on Flight VN526 from Moscow.

The municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said the ceremony would promote the city as a tourist destination, and attract tourists and overseas Vietnamese from Northern and Western Europe in the coming holidays.

The department has worked with the Department of Industry and Trade to organise a month of discounts starting from December 15 with entertainment parks, shopping centres, restaurants, hotels, travel agents and transport providers.
