HCM City to host Int’l Apparel & Textile Safety Conference on Nov 10

An international conference on product safety and restricted substance in apparel and footwear to the U.S. will take place in New World Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City on November 10.

The conference will provide participants with the dynamic U.S. government regulations and other restricted substances standards in apparel and footwear manufacturing.

It will also create chances for retailers and industry experts to discuss product safety regulations, new testing requirements, utilization of American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA)’s Restricted Substances List.

Retailer concerns and consequences of non compliance will also be mentioned during the conference.

The event will be hosted by the American Apparel & Footwear Association, in cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce, the Vietnam Leather and Footwear Association (LEFASO), the Vietnam Textile & Apparel Association (VITAS), and the Apparel & Footwear International RSL Management Working Group (AFIRM).
