HCM City saves nearly 325.7b dong of electricity cost in Jan-July period

HCM city Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) reported that in Jan-July, the city saved over 232.8 million kWh of electricity cost, equalling to 325.7 billion dong.
The saved volume of electricity accounts for 2.73% of electricity consumption (more than 8.513 billion kWh) in the period.

In which, the city saved 46.50 million kWh in public lighting electricity, and 22.6 million kWh in administrative institutions, 120.4 million kWh in living electricity, and 43.2 million kWh in production electricity.

Total electricity saving of the city is expected at 320 million kWh this year, up 43.5% year on year.

With this result, HCM City is seen as the most effective electricity saver nationally. Monthly electricity consumption here, thanks to dissemission programs, reduced 26% [or 2,356 kWh or 3.2 million dong a month]. – Vietbiz24
