HCM City all set for Technology Business Seminar

Technology Business Seminar 2010 will take place in HCM City from October 13-14.

The Strategic Alliance Vietnamese Ventures International (SAVVi), IDG Venture Viet Nam and DFJ Vinacapital will co-ordinate to hold the seminar.

The conference is expected to attract world renown IT groups such as Yahoo, Google, Southeast Asian IBM, Jones Day, Cisco, Tencent and Morgan Stanley.

Seminar topics will include the role of government in technology development; how to create an environment to develop innovation and creativity, attracting more venture capital to invest in domestic information technology companies.

Cisco, IBM and Yahoo are also scheduled to discuss issues related to technology applications in the process of urbanisation and construction of smart cities.
