Hanoi’s service and retail sales reaches nearly 70tr dong

Hanoi’s total retail sales of goods and services in May reached some 69.874 trillion dong, up 2.1 percent against the previous month and increasing 35.3 percent compared to the same period last year, reported general Statistic Office (GSO).

Of which, the city’s total retail turnover reached 16.22 trillion dong, rising 2.2 percent month on month and 32.1 percent year-on-year.

Totally, in Jan-May, the city’s total turnover of retail and services reached nearly 335.966 trillion dong, a year-on-year increase of 25.9 percent. Of which, retail turnover posted a year-on-year rise of 27.3 percent to 76.155 trillion dong.
