Hanoi’s H1 export turnover expected to reach $3.4b

Hanoi’s export turnover is estimated is estimated to reach $3.4 billion in the first half of this year, an increase of 10.4 percent over the same period in 2009, the Hanoi City Statistics Department said.

In the first six months of the year, most commodities such as rice, electronics, computer accessories and textiles, increased in volume compared with the same period of last year.

Meanwhile, the department said goods prices increased by an average of 8 percent this year compared with the same period in 2009.
