Hanoi’s export shows positive growth in last 11 months

Hanoi Statistics Department showed that the city’s export in the past 11 months enjoyed positive growth with accumulative export turnover in Jan-November of about US$7.2 billion, a year-on-year increase of 25.1%, of which Hanoi’s export value in November only counted for US$770 million.

Overcoming the difficulty in economic crisis, from the beginning of the year up to now, the capital city’s export turnover in textile and garment industry reached US$891.3 million, increasing by 31.3% against the same period last year.

The import value in Jan-November was expected at over US$19 billion, up 13.3% year-on-year. The import value in state-owned enterprises counted for 68% of the total.
