Hanoi industrial production up 15.3pct y-o-y

Hanoi’s industrial production value in July touched over 8.9 trillion dong, up 2.2 percent against previous month and 15.3 percent from a year earlier, according to the city’s report sent to the prime minister.

In July, the city’s total retail turnover and service sales reached over 71 trillion dong, rising 2.3 percent month on month and over 37 percent year-on-year. Therefore, Hanoi’s growth in Jan-July was 28.7 percent.

The export turnover in July was $697.4 million, increasing 32.2 percent against the same period last year.
