Hai Phong Securities Co suffers loss of 48b dong in 2010


The northern bourse-listed Hai Phong Securities Joint Stock Co (coded HPC) has lately released the 2010 audited financial reports with accumulative loss of 48 billion dong, compared to 2009 profit of over12 billion dong.



According to 2010 financial report, the company reported gaining net revenue of 56 billion dong, declining by 48.6 percent against that of 2009 of 109.5 billion dong.



The company’s stock investment activities brought in revenue of 25.7 billion dong, brokerage activities of 26 billion dong, while other activities of 4.2 billion dong.



In addition, the operation cost and management cost rose sharply, resulting in 2010 net profit of negative 48.6 billion dong.
