Ha Noi set for November sales

About 350-500 businesses are set to join Ha Noi’s second sales promotion month, organised by the city’s Department of Industry and Trade in November, the department announced yesterday.

Many products from participating companies will be discounted by at least 15 per cent, the department said.

It added that companies involved in the campaign provided garments and footwear, electronics, furniture, food and beverages, hotel and tourism products, and beauty services.

Unlike the city’s previous promotional campaign, the month will feature two golden days which fall on 13-14 November. Offers will include discounts at 22 places in every district of the city.

About 17 companies would participate on the special days, with businesses offering 20-50 per cent discounts on products.

During the month, a fair will be organised in the National Trade Fair and Exhibition Centre on Giang Vo Street from 18-21 November with the participation of 130 stalls.

Consumers will be able to register complaints by telephone call for the first time, through calling 04.1081.

The Viet Nam Standard and Consumer Protection Association and local market watch force will immediately investigate any consumer complaints.

More information about the programme can be found in the Yellow Page Buying Guide which are available for free at participating supermarkets and shopping centres.
