Ha Long Tourism festival to open soon

About half a million tourists are expected to attend the Ha Long Tourism festival beginning in on April 29, annouced the Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee on April 20.

The four-day event will include a carnival on May Day, which involves the participation of thousands of artists, tourists and local people, and an international trade-tourism fair with 85 stands displaying products from 10 cities and provinces and enterprises inThailand, Laos and China.

This year’s tourism festival is aimed at promoting Quang Ninh tourism, improving its competitiveness and campaigning for Ha Long Bay to be elected as one of the world’s seven natural wonders.
