Gold prices surpass VND30 million/tael

Late in the day on September 17, gold prices set a new record of VND30.03 million/tael, rising VND160,000/tael since the morning.

In Hanoi, at 4.30pm, gold at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company stood at VND29.94-30.03 million/tael. Meanwhile, at Phu Quy Company, gold was listed at VND29.94-30.03 million/tael.

The average gold price was up VND320,000/tael from the previous day. Despite a new peak, the number of customers in gold stores seemed no higher than usual. – VOV
