Gold prices remain high on domestic market

Domestic gold prices remain high despite Vietnam’s recent import of a huge gold volume.

SJC gold in Ho Chi Minh City was listed at VND44.90-VND45.43 million per tael on August 11, up VND800,000 per tael compared to the previous day.

In Hanoi, SJC gold hovered between VND44.90-VND45.42 million per tael and Than Tai SBJ between VND45.31-45.79 million per tael, while Bao Tin Minh Chau Dragon was transacted at VND43.5-44.1 million per tael.

In the meantime, world gold prices hit a record high of US$1.850 per ounce.  -VOV
