Gold prices continue to surpass VND40 million/tael

Domestic gold prices reached a record high of VND40.16 million per tael on July 30.

At 9.30 am SJC gold in Hanoi was listed at VND40.05-40.15 million per tael.

Meanwhile, gold prices stood at VND40.06-40.16 million per tael in Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, Nha Trang and Can Tho.

The domestic price of gold increased by VND100,000 per tael compared to transactions on July 29.

In the world market, gold prices hovered around US$1,627-1,628 per ounce. – VOV
