Gold price surges to over 45m dong/tael
Within one hour, the gold price increased 350,000 dong/tael from yesterday. The local gold price is still higher than the global counterpart by over three million dong per tael.
At 9:45 am local time, the domestic market surged additional 150,000-190,000 dong/tael from the previously updated price. Within one hour today morning Tuesday October 4, the gold price increased 350,000 dong per tael from late yesterday.
The SJC gold price is traded at 44.72-44.94 million dong/tael, up 190,000 dong/tael from the previously updated price. The price of Rong Thang Long gold of Bao Tin Minh Chau is traded at 44.8-45 million dong/tael, rising 150,000 dong.
The gold price on free market in Hanoi is being traded at 44.8-45 million dong/tael.
Thus, from early this week so far, SJC gold price has increased 670,000 dong/tael.
Currently, the spot gold price on Kitco floor is at $1,662 per ounce, remaining stable from the previous update. According to the forex rate at bank, the world gold price is still lower than the local one by 3.2 million dong per tael. – Source: Vietbiz24
