Gold price bounces over 1m dong to 47.3m dong/tael

Today morning August 31, the local gold price jumped to over 47.3 million dong per tael and the global gold price also bounced over $40 per tael from the closing price yesterday.
At 8:30 am local time, the domestic gold price increased one million dong/tael from late yesterday whereby the selling price is at 47.3 million dong per tael and the buying price at 47 million dong per tael.

The difference between the buying and selling price is at 280,000-400,000 dong/tael.

In comparison with late yesterday, the gold price in the domestic market increased over one million dong per tael but still decreased 500,000 dong/tael from last weekend.

The spot gold price on Kitco floor is currently at $1,830 per ounce, up $42 per ounce from the closing price yesterday. Previously, the global price climbed up to $1,841 per ounce.

According to the forex rate, the world price is about 46 million dong/tael, lower than the local gold pricie by 1.3 million dong/tael. – Vietbiz24
