Gold loses 140,000 dong/tael

SJC gold on Friday morning in Hanoi was listed at 37.76 million and 37.85 million dong per tael (purchase-selling) by Bao Tin Minh Chau, down 150,000 dong and 130,000 dong respectively against the previous day afternoon.
Meanwhile, gold at Hanoi SJC Jewelry Co declined 140,000 dong in purchase price and 100,000 dong/tael in selling price to 37.81 million and 37.88 million dong/tael.

In HCM City, SBJ gold of Sacombank SBJ Jewelry Co was bought at 37.76 million dong and sold at 37.89 million dong/tael, decreasing 180,000 dong and 100,000 dong.

Hence, gold on Friday went back the high of 38 million dong per tael, which attracted investors to come back the market. Demand for purchasing gold dominated the demand for sales.

Global gold in New York closed down 0.7% on June 10 to $1,532.14 per ounce while gold for August contract was down $13.5 to $1,529.20/ounce. – Vietbiz24
