GMP-WHO pharmaceutical factory officially put into operation

Danapha Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Co officially opened and put into operation the most modern and well-equipped pharmaceutical factory in Da Nang City on November 6, 2010. The pharmaceutical plant was built under GMP-WHO quality standards in Hoa Khanh Industrial Zone with total initial investment capital of 60 billion dong.

In the first phase, the GMP pharmaceutical plant will operate with expected production capacity of 140 million tablets per year. Danapha JSC expected to earn annual output of 110 billion dong per year after putting into operation the new plant, creating jobs for about 300 local workers.

In Q4 of 2010, the new pharmaceutical plant was expected to reach production output of 60 million tablets, equivalent to about 235 million tablets per year.
