German Firms Keen on Energy Development Projects in Vietnam

German enterprises are interested in energy development projects in Vietnam, said Alexander Bischoff, chairman of German Business Association (GBA).

The European country has developed leading technologies to harness renewable energy, especially wind and solar energies, PetroVietnam Gas Corp (PV Gas) said, citing the official.

Last year, Germany granted $1.4 million to help Vietnam develop its wind energy industry.

As many as 15 German business delegations will arrive in the Southeast Asian country to seek investment opportunities in energy and hi-tech fields this year.
