Fruit and vegetables festival opens in Ho Chi Minh City

A fruit and vegetables festival was held in Ho Chi Minh City by the Southern Centre for Support and Development of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (Socencoop) on January 7.

50 cooperatives in the southern provinces took part in the festival to introduce their production capacity and seek partners to expand markets, contributing to stabilising prices and making consumers feel safe to use fruit and vegetables.

More than 200 units, including foreign businesses associations in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetables Association, businesses, hotels, restaurants, foreign commercial offices, and super markets, such as Saigon Co.op, Big C and Metro have come to seek business opportunities at the festival.

The festival was sponsored by the Asian Fund – VOV
