FPT teams up with Hong Kong telecom provider

Vietnam’s leading telecommunications services provider FPT Telecom Corporation (FPT) signed a cooperation agreement with PCCW Global, a subsidiary of Hong Kong’s premier telecommunications provider, PCCW Limited in Hanoi on August 25.

The two sides will interconnect their Ethernet networks for improved international network coverage and service availability.

This collaboration is an expansion of the long-standing relationship between FPT and PCCW Global since their Multi Protocol Line Switching (MPLS) networks interconnected in 2008.

The interconnected MPLS and Ethernet infrastructures allow FPT and PCCW Global to offer enterprise customers MPLS VPN and Switched Ethernet with different classes of service (CoS), enabling optimum integration of offices and applications in any corporate environment with minimal capital investment. – VOV
