Forex rate unchanged at 20,628 dong/US dollar Jun 07
The interbank average forex rate today Tuesday (June 07) announced by the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) remains unchanged at 20,628 dong/US dollar from yesterday (June 06) and almost commercial banks kept the forex rate stable except Eximbank and Vietinbank.
Accordingly, the ceiling forex rate for commercial banks today will be 20,790 dong/US dollar.
At the office of SBV, the forex rate was quoted at 20,600-20,834 dong/US dollar, falling 5 dong from yesterday.
Commercial banks continued to sell US dollar about 190 dong lower than the allowable ceiling level.
Vietnam Commercial Joint Stock Bank for Foreign Trade (Vietcombank-VCB) listed the forex rate at 20,530-20,610 dong/US dollar and it was 20,480-20,580 dong/US dollar at ACB, remaining unchanged day on day.
Meanwhile, Vietnam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank-EIB) lowered the US dollar selling price by 20 dong from yesterday, to trade at 20,470-20,580 dong/US dollar and Vietnam Commercial Joint Stock Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank-CTG) lowered the US dollar buying price by 20 dong to trade at 20,480-20,600 dong.
The forex rate at VIB was 20,520-20,600 dong/US dollar and it was 20,500-20,600 dong/US dollar at VPBank.
