Foreign tourists to Hanoi in Q1 declines 7.2pct yoy
During the first three months of this year, the number of international tourists to Hanoi declined 7.2 percent year-on-year while the tourists to Vietnam generally surged nearly 36 percent, reported the city’s Statistic Office.
Explaining this, Vietnam general Department of Tourism said that the volume of foreign visitors to Hanoi was calculated based on the immigration statistics via Noi Bai Airport alone (excluding the tourists moving from other provinces/cities to Hanoi).
