Ford launches new dealerships

Ford Vietnam on Tuesday launched its 12th authorized dealer in the city, raising the total number of dealers, outlets and Ford Assured offices to 23 nationwide.

The Ben Thanh Ford dealership covers more than 2,500 square meters at 831 Truong Chinh Street, Tan Phu District, and is the company’s most modern facility in Vietnam to date.

Boasting a 500 square meter showroom and state-of-the-art maintenance, customer care and auto parts centers, the dealership meets Ford’s high standards, said Michael Pease, general director of Ford Vietnam.

Facilities include 20 general repair service bays, seven American Rotary car lifts and six modern car two-post lifts plus a 10 bay paint shop. VND40 billion was invested in the dealership.

The dealership has employed 50 qualified sales consultants, service advisors and technicians who have been trained by Ford Vietnam and regional experts.

Ben Thanh Ford also plans to invest in a new painting system. They will also sell used Ford Assured cars in the southern market.

In related news, Lee Automobile Co., Ltd, or I-mark salon LEE, has been authorized as an official dealer of Isuzu Vietnam. They began operation last week, bringing the total number of Isuzu dealers in Vietnam to 14.

Located at 22/2 Street, Thuan Giao Commune, Thuan An District, Binh Duong Province, the dealership is located just 5km from Binh Duong’s center and 30km from HCMC.

With an initial VND12 billion investment, I-mark Salon LEE was constructed to meet the standards of I-mark Salon 3S (Sales – Service – Spare Parts). It is built on a 11,000 square meter area, and accommodates a 600 square meter showroom and a 4,000 square meter service workshop.
