First PALME Expo to take place in Vietnam

PALME, the annual exhibition of the entertainment technology industry, professional sound, light, music, audio visual and systems integration, was recently held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. This is the first time the event was hosted in Vietnam.

The exhibition attracted the participation of over 200 companies from more than 20 countries and territories.

According to Deputy Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism, Tran Chien Thang, the organisation of the PALME exhibition was at the right time because Vietnam is considered the fastest-growing entertainment market in the world.

Ms Rosalind Ng, Executive Director of the Asian IIR Exhibitions Company, said: This PALME will offer opportunities for Vietnamese businesses to access advanced technologies and equipment in the entertainment industry.
