First joint venture in wide-band Internet services established

The first joint venture company named RusViet Telecom (RVT) has lately been established in Vietnam, specifying in providing wide-band internet services.

The new joint venture was set up under the signed agreement between Vietnam Post and Telecommunication Group (VNPT) and Russia-based ALLtech Telecom Group at the Vietnam-Russian Business Forum held in Hanoi last weekend.

The joint venture will be put into operation under the form of a joint stock company with chartered capital of 1.6 trillion dong, of which VNPT contributed 51 percent at minimum.

Previously, the two parties cooperated with each other in testing 4G/LTE network and services in Vietnam after receiving the licence to develop this new service in Vietnam.

Alltech Telecom Group has already prepared for carrying out LTE services in other markets such as Cambodia, Laos and Burma. – Dau tu
