Export of wood, steel and garment on high rise

National exports of steel in the first 11 months of 2010 reached nearly US$910 million, an 180 percent increase in value and 20 times higher in quantity over the same period in 2009.

Garment export in the reviewed period also surpassed US$10 billion, 25 percent higher than that of 2010.

Export revenue of wood is also expected to see an increase of 30 percent to surpass an estimated US$3.2 billion. Some wood processing companies said they have received full order for the first half of next year. – VOV
