Eximbank spares 1tr dong to lend at preferential interest rate of 18.5pct/yr

Vietnam Export and Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank-EIB) on September 30 announced it launched a program “one trillion dong to serve individual customers in production and business by year-end” with the maximum lending duration of three months.
Accordingly, the bank will offer preferential lending interest rate of only 18.5% per year. The bank’s soft loans will be given to individual borrowers to support the working capital, investment capital or business and production expansion purposes.
The collaterals are urban and rural properties, deposit number issued by Eximbank, government bonds and saving card issued by other banks.
Earlier, on September 15, Eximbank also spent three trillion dong to support business and production enterprises with the lending interest rate of 18% per year with the maximum lending duration of six months.”-Source:Vietbiz24.com”
