EVN Telecom signs cooperative pact

EVN Telecom and CMC Telecom Infrastructure last week signed a cooperation contract to provide international channels in Hanoi and HCM City under a FTTx network infrastructure project.

FTTx (Fiber to the x) is a generic term for any broadband network architecture that uses optical fiber to replace all or part of the usual metal local loop used for last mile telecommunications.

CMC will use international Internet TV channel with a capacity of up to 2.5Gbps via a EVN Telecom’s optical cable for five years.

It will use the channels to meet all the demand for telecommunications services and multimedia entertainment on a single link in the two cities.
