EC finances brand development for Vietnamese shoes exporters

The European Commission will provide 225,000 euro for a project to improve Vietnamese shoe exporters competitiveness by developing brands on the international market.

The funds will be directed by EC’s Multilateral Trade Assistance Project III (MUTRAP III) in Vietnam.

The project will offer training courses in technical and marketing subjects to local shoes businesses in two major cities, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, according to the Vietnam Leather and Footwear Association.
