In the first 10 months this year, the refinery contributed VND1,400 billion to the state budget and expects to hand over another VND800 billion in the last two months of the year.

When the refinery is in full operation, the output every year is expected to reach VND60,000-80,000 billion and contribute VND9,000 billion to the state budget, while furthering economic development in Quang Ngai and nearby areas.

In December, the refinery’s management board in coordination with the Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Company will hold a meeting to review their operations in 2009. As scheduled, the Dung Quat Oil Refinery will be officially transferred from the Technip Complex to the Binh Son Company in mid-January 2010
